MuseScore Studio is a free, open-source music notation application used by a global community of musicians, composers, students, and educators. The product features a sophisticated engraving engine that powers notation rendering across the Muse Group ecosystem.

• Define the product strategy and roadmap with measurable goals and quarterly milestones;
• Own the backlog and prioritization end-to-end;
• Make product decisions regarding flows, edge cases, defaults, and error states;
• Steer designers and engineers during execution;
• Drive every release end-to-end, including planning, scoping, quality control, and launch metrics;
• Lead, develop, and grow a multidisciplinary team of 22 people;
• Manage engagement with the open-source community across forums, GitHub, and Discord;
• Drive cross-product integrations across the Muse ecosystem.

• Proven track record as a Product Owner or Product Manager for a complex software product with a large active user base;
• Deep understanding of music notation, composition workflows, or music software;
• Strong technical literacy and experience working with engineers on multi-platform C++ desktop applications;
• People management experience leading and growing multidisciplinary teams;
• Fluent English (written and verbal);
• Experience with end-to-end data ownership, including instrumentation, tracking, and setting targets;
• Experience engaging with vocal external communities and managing public narratives.
