• Design and build production-grade machine learning and optimisation systems for search and recommendations at scale;
• Partner with engineering and product leaders to shape the product roadmap leveraging ML;
• Provide technical leadership across multiple product areas;
• Identify and prioritise opportunities for high-impact algorithmic improvements;
• Mentor junior team members;
• Lead cross-functional pods to generate collective impact across the business.

• Proven track record of designing and shipping impactful algorithms that deliver measurable business outcomes in a production environment;
• Deep expertise in applied ML for Search, NLP, IR, or RecSys, including both classical and deep learning methods;
• Strong background in Python;
• Ability to think holistically about business problems and influence long-term strategy;
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills;
• Nice to have: familiarity with explore/exploit/MAB algorithms, LLMs, causal inference techniques, experience with PyTorch or TensorFlow.
