• Design data solutions for a large retail company;
• Support the processing of big data volumes;
• Integrate solutions into the current architecture;
• Lead cross-functional engineering teams;
• Define technical strategy and architecture;
• Drive the delivery of complex data platforms;
• Mentor engineers;
• Communicate with stakeholders at all organizational levels.

• 8+ Years of overall experience, including at least 1+ year in a Lead or Architect position;
• 3+ Years of hands-on expertise with Azure Data Factory and Synapse;
• Strong expertise in designing and implementing conceptual, logical, and physical data models;
• Deep knowledge of Microsoft Azure, including Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, and pySpark;
• Extensive experience building robust ETL/ELT pipelines;
• Proficiency in designing data warehousing solutions such as dimensional modeling, star schemas, Data Mesh, Data/Delta Lakehouse, and Data Vault;
• Proficiency in SQL for complex queries, data transformations, and performance tuning;
• Experience integrating metadata and governance processes into cloud-based data platforms;
• Experience with cloud-based analytical databases, Azure MI, Azure Database for Postgres, Azure Cosmos DB, Azure Analysis Services, and Informix;
• Experience with Python and Python-based ETL tools;
• English B2 Upper Intermediate;
• Readiness to work until 8:00 pm CET;
• Nice to have: Certification in Azure or Databricks, experience with shell scripting (Bash, Unix, Windows), experience with Elasticsearch, familiarity with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes), troubleshooting and performance tuning skills, ability to plan and estimate features, Computer Science or data science academic credentials.
