Quantori provides custom software solutions and operates a scientific and computational platform. The engineering team focuses on building and maintaining scalable backend services and APIs to support research and development workflows.

• Design, develop, and maintain Go-based backend services, including APIs and internal processing components;
• Build and extend APIs supporting scientific and computational workflows;
• Deploy, operate, and troubleshoot services in Kubernetes (EKS) environments;
• Implement and maintain observability systems to ensure system reliability and performance;
• Define key system metrics, build dashboards, and set up proactive alerting mechanisms;
• Collaborate with platform and infrastructure teams to ensure smooth integration with cloud-native systems;
• Participate in system design discussions with a focus on scalability, reliability, performance, and observability;
• Monitor production systems and proactively resolve incidents and performance issues;
• Contribute to and improve CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows;
• Write clean, maintainable, well-tested code following engineering best practices;
• Support and mentor junior engineers when needed.

• Strong hands-on experience building production-grade backend systems in Go;
• Proven experience with Kubernetes (preferably AWS EKS) in production environments;
• Solid background in designing and implementing RESTful APIs or similar service interfaces;
• Strong understanding of cloud-native architecture principles;
• Experience working with production observability stacks (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, ELK, OpenTelemetry);
• Working knowledge of AWS services (EKS, EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, etc.);
• Strong Linux fundamentals and ability to troubleshoot system-level issues;
• Proficiency with Git and modern development workflows;
• Strong debugging and root-cause analysis skills across application and infrastructure layers;
• Working hours must overlap with US Pacific Time (12:00 PM – 5:00 PM PST).
