Remote work is only available from the territory of Poland.
The client's application is a modern distributed platform built on .NET and Windows, structured as a monorepo and operated across nine environments. It integrates a 30-year-old core financial system with modern consumers by providing event-driven processing, saga orchestration, API gateway, and observability infrastructure.
задачи
- Design and implement backend features across .NET/Windows services, MassTransit sagas, and infrastructure layers;
- Take technical ownership of assigned subsystems, identify improvement opportunities, and drive implementation;
- Lead and mentor EU-based developers through code review, pairing, and unblocking;
- Collaborate asynchronously with the NYC-based team lead and wider client team;
- Contribute to design discussions, technical documentation, and architecture decisions;
- Maintain and improve observability, deployment practices, and platform reliability.
требования
- 8+ Years of commercial software engineering experience, primarily in server-side .NET development;
- Hands-on experience with RabbitMQ or comparable brokers like Kafka or Azure Service Bus;
- Demonstrable depth in distributed systems, including reliability, message ordering, and deduplication;
- Experience with saga-style or long-running workflow patterns and stateful multi-step processing;
- Proficiency in writing unit, integration, and contract tests;
- Experience deploying and running .NET services on Windows Server;
- Proven leadership or mentoring experience;
- Strong technical writing skills for design documents and runbooks;
- English C1 Advanced;
- Nice to have: HashiCorp Nomad, Consul, MassTransit, MongoDB, YARP, Splunk, OpenTelemetry, multi-environment deployment pipelines, Next.js, TypeScript, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, JFrog Artifactory, financial systems context.
