• Gather and document business and system requirements using standard methods and templates;
• Produce functional specifications with review support;
• Analyze existing business processes at a task level and identify inefficiencies;
• Document meeting outcomes and decisions;
• Participate in discussions to clarify requirements and escalate unclear points;
• Assist in producing solution documentation such as user stories, requirements, and acceptance criteria;
• Work with engineering teams to clarify basic requirements;
• Deliver specific parts of the overall solution independently, including drafting interface contracts or feature flows;
• Work with structured data sources and support analysis by gathering and validating input;
• Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, and daily stand-ups;
• Flag issues impacting delivery timelines and escalate blockers to senior staff.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field;
• 3+ Years of experience in software development as a System or Technical Business Analyst;
• Strong knowledge of requirements management techniques such as Use Cases or User Stories;
• Understanding of non-functional requirements in software development;
• Understanding of integration processes and ability to design integration schemas for multiple systems;
• Strong knowledge of business process notations such as BPMN and UML;
• Good knowledge of Web Services, REST API, HTTP, and microservices architecture;
• Knowledge of SQL at the level of basic queries and databases;
• Understanding of basic UI/UX concepts;
• Knowledge of fundamentals in algorithm theory, database theory, systems theory, system analysis, and information security;
• Analytical and problem-solving skills;
• Structured and clear communication;
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment;
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality;
• Must be currently living in Cyprus.
